The Cuda 650 DPV's are the endurance model scooters from the X-Scooter stable. Based around an ultra efficient brushless motor the Cuda delivers market leading range and performance. The Cuda will effortlessly out pace any other scooter on the market whilst still retaining the workhorse reliability that X-Scooters are renowned for. With top speeds in excess of 250'pm the Cuda has the power to overcome tidal currents that other scooters cannot match and combines that speed with the endurance needed for the most demanding explorations.
To develop the Cuda Dive Xtras applied the knowledge and the lessons learnt from the past 4 years of designing and building innovative scooters. The Cuda body was redesigned to remove any excess weight without compromising strength. The resulting scooter maintains the X-Scooters 180m/600ft depth rating whilst weighing in at a mere 53lbs and outperforming all other scooters in it's class.
The Cuda has 8 trigger selectable speeds, the first 5 of which are designed to closely match the 5 speeds of the Sierra models and the remaining 3 speeds are where the full power of the Cuda are unleashed. Open circuit divers will need to detune their 2nd stage regulators before attempting to ride the Cuda at the faster speeds in order to prevent free flows.

Utilising a new 650W 41V Ni-Mh battery pack the Cuda 650 is capable of achieving speeds in excess of 250'pm and has a range of nearly 5 miles on a single charge.
The Nexcell Smart Charger provided with Cuda will intelligently manage and prolong the life of the Ni-Mh battery packs by giving the pack a periodic maintenance charge.

Check out the new e-show from Dive-Xtras which explains the features of the Cuda 650 and the 850. The Cuda 850 is a larger version of the Cuda 650, weighing in at 62lbs/28kgs. The extra weight is due to the 850W battery and has extra body length to compensate for this.
