Deep Ideas is able to provide you with a unique opportunity to hire an X-Scooter for your personal use. We currently have a fleet of 3 X-Scooter Sierras for hire and an X-Scooter Cuda.
The X-Scooter needs to be collected and returned to one of our locations. You may arrange delivery for the X-Scooter, but be aware this is likely to be expensive. We are currently trying to find reasonably priced delivery options.
Drop-off/Collection Locations: Oxford, Northampton
For those living too far away to collect, consider getting a group of friends together to hire X-Scooters and we may be able to deliver/collect for the cost of petrol. Just drop us an email.
Registration
Scooters can be dangerous items if handled incorrectly, therefore we will only hire to registered users. To become a registered user you need to attend one of our demo/registration days and provide photo id and address verification.
The registration process will go through the following:
- Preparation and maintenence of X-Scooter
- Use of the X-Scooter
- Emergency procedures
This will be followed by an opportunity to take the X-Scooter for a dive to get comfortable.
We appreciate this process may not be ideal for you, but we will try to accomodate your needs any way we can, just drop us an email. We are enforcing this process as we wish to keep everyone as safe as possible. If you have been taught to use an X-Scooter previously, please email us and let us know who trained you, when/where. If you have other scooter experience, please send us a brief summary of this.
Rental Costs
The deposit must be taken before X-Scooters are collected and will be refunded after the X-Scooter is received by us.
- Daily hire - Available Monday - Thursday. The X-Scooter can be collected either the day before (pm), or the morning of the day you wish to hire it for. You will be provided with a latest return date/time.
- A weekend is defined as Friday - Sunday. The X-Scooter can be collected any time after 12pm on Friday so it is ready for your use over the weekend. You will be advised of the latest return date/time.
- A week is defined as Friday - Thursday. The X-Scooter can be collected either Thursday (pm) or Friday morning depending on your requirements. The X-Scooter must be returned by Friday 12:00pm at the latest.
- If you wish to hire the X-Scooter for a period not defined here, please email us.
- Failure to return the X-Scooter by the designated date/time will incur a daily hire rate for every day/part day the X-Scooter is overdue.
- The hire of the X-Scooter is for the use of the renter only. Please read our full terms and conditions in the rental agreement.
- You must obtain written permission from Deep Ideas before taking the X-Scooter abroad.
